Red Flag Warning Issued for Parts of San Diego County Starting Sunday
Gusty Santa Ana winds and low humidity are expected in the mountains and valleys Sunday evening into Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service says. The Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning, indicating increased wildfire danger, for the mountains and valleys starting 6 p.m. Sunday and lasting until 2 p.m. Tuesday. The strongest winds are expected Sunday night and Monday morning, and again Monday night into Tuesday morning, with northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts up to 50 mph.
