All Evacuation Orders, Warnings Lifted, Final Evacuation Point Location Closed

The Valley Fire is now 39% contained and remains at 17,665 acres.

All remaining evacuation orders and warnings are lifted. All road closures are also lifted.

The Cleveland National Forest also remains under the Emergency Forest Closure Order.

Non-residents should avoid the area as there may be traffic flow congestion due to fire crews and utility works still working in the area.

Use extreme caution around trees, power poles and other tall objects that may have been weakened by fire,

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department will have increased patrols in the area to ensure public safety and prevent looting. Residents should call the San Diego Sheriff’s Department if they notice suspicious people in the area.

The remaining Temporary Evacuation Point at Steele Canyon High School at 12440 Campo Road in Spring Valley has closed. All evacuation centers are now closed.

The County of San Diego is opening a Local Assistance Center to help residents affected by the Valley Fire starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Rancho San Diego library branch in El Cajon.
