Red Flag Warning Extended to Monday, September 5

The National Weather Service has extended the Red Flag Warning until noon Monday for the San Diego County mountains and deserts. The Red Flag Warning has been issued due to strong gusty winds and low humidity.  Winds are forecasted to run west to southwest along mountain ridges into deserts at speeds of 10-25 MPH, with gusts up to 35-40 MPH, and will be accompanied by very low humidity, resulting in critical wildfire conditions.  More forecast information and updates are available from the National Weather Service
