The Old Fire east of Campo grew to 820 acres overnight and was 30 percent contained Monday morning, CAL FIRE said. The fire is burning in heavy fuel and steep terrain. The 150 structures that were evacuated east of Old Highway 80 Sunday, including homes and RVs, remained evacuated Monday. Twenty-five additional structures are threatened west of Church Road, and deputies are going door to door notifying residents of mandatory evacuations. More than 200 total structures are threatened, according to CAL FIRE.

The Golden Acorn Casino has been designated a temporary evacuation point. Seven customers in the area were without power Monday morning, with estimated restoration time 1 p.m., according to San Diego Gas & Electric. Old Highway 80 is closed at Crestwood, and Highway 94 is closed at Church Road.
