Heat Advisory Extended through Sunday Evening

The National Weather Services has extended the Heat Advisory until October 05 at 8:00 PM PDT for the San Diego County Valleys.

Temperatures are expected to be very hot Sunday with the  valleys expected to reach between 98 and 108 degrees.  Hottest temperatures are expected from late morning to late afternoon.

The County operates a Cool Zones program and has designated buildings as cooling centers. View the map at www.sdcountyemergency.com or call 2-1-1 for a list of cooling zone locations including hours of operation.
